Spring Break, Italy Edition.....day 3 Siena

We left Rome and headed to Florence for 2 nights.  We are going to see Siena, Florence and the Tuscan vineyards.
This was the view from our Airbnb apt we rented for the next 2 nights.
Cute little bedroom, the couch in the living room also laid out into a bed for Zack and Jonah.
The beautiful Siena Cathedral, built in 1215
The colored marble makes the look unique compared to all the others we have visited.
 Awesome marble columns.
The entire floor is a mosaic and only a portion of the floor is shown at any given time, roped off so it doesn't get walked on.
It took 200 years to finish the floor from the 14th thru 16th centuries!
But they are true works of art.

There where multiple bronze statues by Donatello.
We grabbed some lunch and sat down at the Piazza del Campo and ate while we people watched.
 The Tuscany countryside.
 The vineyards are just starting.
Throughout our drive the vineyards are as far as you could see.
